Madrid subway ticket prices for 2018
· Single ticket
The ticket costs a minimum of 1.5 € (from 1 to 5 stations) and the price increases with the number of stations to a maximum of 2 €.
· Travel card 10 for buses and metro
The 10 ticket costs € 12.20 and is valid for 10 trips from any metro stop to any other. This ticket may also be used in urban EMT buses.
· Where can metro tickets be purchased?
They can be bought in various locations: The most obvious place is in the machines in the metro stations that allow payment by coins, banknotes and even credit cards. All machines have touchscreen and are easy to use.
Also the “magnetic card” can be purchased and recharged in the machines in the metro stations and in the tobacconist shops
Note.- The bus driver has only change up to 5 Euro.
Buses: Express line links the airport with the City Center “Plaza de Cibeles” and Atocha Train Station. Time: 40 min. Price 5 Euro.
Taxis from and to the Airport:
Fixed price 30 EUR
Transfer to terminal T1, T2, T3 and T4.- If you need to change terminal; a free 24-hours transit bus run between terminals.
The city taxis (white with red strip) have a fare counter.
